About Me

Thanks for checking out Agog in Prague.

I'm Laura, a 20something newbie blogger who is utterly obsessed with my new(ish) hometown, pretty things and attempting to recreate them, finding the best spots to enjoy a glass or two (or five) of Prague's finest beverages, containers, and messing around in the kitchen.

I started Agog as a way to keep in touch with friends and family when I picked up and left NJ to move to the Czech Republic to teach English, galavant around Europe and generally get myself up to no good. It has since turned into a journal of places, spaces and lots of nonsense.

Writing this blog has been a complete learning experience full of equal parts frustrations and aha moments.

I hope you enjoy clicking around and seeing what I'm getting up to.

  1. Hello,
we are an italian on-line publishing company owner of the web magazine Tipi Metropolitani® (Metro Types®), an on-line cultural project around the international metropolitan community (see Press Review in homepage).

The reason for this e-mail is that we would like to ask your permission to republish some extracts of your interesting Prague blog on our site. This would be obviously done mentioning your site and, in the meantime, allowing you to be presented to a large and sophisticated public through a site that received a "special mention" in the “eContent Award” / eCulture category, an Award sponsored by the Presidency of the Italian Republic and the Presidency of the Italian Government.

    In the meantime, best regards.

    1. Hi Ester,

Thanks so much! I'd be more than happy to have Tipi Metropolitani republish things from Agog in Prague. Please let me know if there's anything you need from me. Exciting stuff! :)
